This Attwood fan is powerful and reasonably quiet. It performed extremely well over a year. SVB have been an excellent supplier.

The installation was uncomplicated, the performance was good and could easily be combined with the transition to a thinner hose with an HT sewer pipe

The TURBO 4000 was easy to install and connect and has been doing its job in my engine compartment really flawlessly ever since. The suction power is also really great. It only got the not quite full score because, contrary to the announcement, it makes a lot of "noise" (logical, it's a fan !!), but I can't say that it is "64% quieter than conventional fans" just say. But that doesn't bother me, because the V6 4,3 Mercruiser isn't exactly one of the "quiet" ones; o))

Efficient but VERY noisy

Unlike its predecessor, this fan is noticeably quieter but hasn't lost any performance.

I can recommend it.

Noise and suction power are fine.

At high or low voltage you can hear different
speeds. The fan must stand on rubber feet to dampen the
vibration noise. Otherwise the fan is good.

Loud
The first fan was very loud and was broken after about 2 years. We are now giving the product another chance and installed a new fan of the same type.

Actually a great powerful fan. However for my purposes not really what I was looking for. By installing a potentiometer, he then fulfills but very well his service. Quality could be a little better for the price and it is too loud for us.

insane noise
Unfortunately, I am negatively surprised. Have already installed 2 of these fans and was happy with it. But the third fan makes a sound as if someone is chasing through the ship with a chainsaw ...

2 stars !! I forgave for this product because it causes a pretty loud noise, but is certainly drowned out by the engine noise. Unfortunately, a protective device is missing in front of the propeller, so that small parts are easily sucked in and could damage the fan blades. The suction power is good and stable the execution. Now only the practical test is still out. Bonn, January 2011

Too loud
The Turbo 3000 has an unpleasantly high-pitched, very loud operating noise. Even with rubber feet (not included), penetrating high-frequency vibrations occur when mounted on a bulkhead. If the exhaust hose terminates near the cockpit, it is unbearable.

bilge extractor fan
After installation, the fan worked for a few hours then stopped working...
Too bad

A very powerful fan, I wanted to use this with a potentiometer for speed control. The engine compartment fan should blow fresh air into the tank and bilge area. During the test run, I first noticed an imbalance and scraping noises, which would rob you of sleep during operation at night. These could not be turned off. He is also a true power shredder. Unfortunately for my purposes completely unsuitable, too loud and a bad processing. I had really promised more for the price. Actually, he has not earned a rating star.
