The text for this article states, among other things, that this precursor has enlarged end links on both sides in accordance with DIN 763. I had ordered a forerunner with a chain link diameter of 8 mm and a length of 6 m. However, a 6 m long chain was supplied without enlarged end links, which was provided with a shackle at each end. However, the normal 8 mm chain links do not allow my anchor gear to be shackled. This circumstance was communicated to an employee by telephone on the same day of arrival. A test was expressly promised as well as a free replacement delivery of the "correct" predecessor. Unfortunately, the replacement delivery was again the same article, i.e. no enlarged end links and a simple 7 mm shackle at each end. Another consultation showed that the offer in the form would probably not be available (anymore). It is disappointing that this wrong delivery was not followed up in your company after my express complaint, but the same article was sent again without being sure that this time an article actually corresponding to the offer was sent. And if he's not available, you could have saved yourself this show. Since I urgently need a forerunner, I decided to keep one anyway.

Good product at a reasonable price. Loose zinc leaves ugly marks if you are not careful, but these can be polished off.

Following the description of this article, I read 2 shackles delivered with this chain, I looked at the answers to the questions asked which confirmed the 2 shackles, so I ordered this article reassured, but on delivery, There is NO shackle, they are just long rings at each end, I have just been had!!
I have to order 2 shackles and pay the shipping costs
