Good product quality and excellent advice
After the excellent advice from Mr. Stürck at the Kiel branch, the purchase decision was easy for me. I was able to install, operate, and test the Tiller Pilot easily, following the provided documentation. It does what it's supposed to, even though I'm using it with the minimal configuration, i.e., without a rudder reference sensor and without data from a wind sensor. I don't rule out the possibility of adding these components in the future, but so far, that doesn't seem necessary.

Seems to work well
The part itself seems to work well.
It is difficult to estimate the price-performance ratio because there are no competing devices.
Negative The cables included are too short for a sensible installation, which is very stingy. You have to reorder expensive cables. You also need an extra cable for the connection to NMEA (preferably backbone), which is of course not included, but you would like clear instructions.
I am still giving it 5 stars because the installation, once you finally have all the cables together, went well and the thing works well. I don't know what it's like in winds over 5 Bft. But up to 15, 16 knots of wind, it ran smoothly.

The RAYMARINE tiller pilot EV-100 is awesome...! I use it for my Beneteau First 26. Even with Baltic waves downwind and 7 Bft. he doesn't cause any problems. Always straight and stays on course even when the ship starts to surf... unbelievable. The only worry is that the tiller will hold...!

Purchased to replace a 15-year-old Raymarine 4000 non-repairable sailboat for a 10.3m 5.4T displacement sailboat. Works very well in a Seatalk-Seatalk NG hybrid network. Reacts well to swell when sailing full. Too bad the kit only includes the network cable of 5 meters. I had to buy a 9-meter cable to put the EV1 sensor at the location of the old fluxgate compass (in the chest at the front of the square).

I bought this set in Feb. 2019 and used the long winter to build it in my Trimaran Corsair Dash2 Bj 2016. All you need is packed nicely in a big box, really great! First, you should look at everything very well and read through, then decide where the individual components should be installed and where the wiring should run Without this small preliminary study, the whole thing rather nothing I had to buy as an additional panel with circuit breakers and install After completed (consuming) Installation was the commissioning by means of a 4-page description (English only) but really simple The menu of the P70S is very manageable and sympathetic, just click through according to the short description and then finish on the water quickly with 4Kts turn a 360 circle, enter Deviation and not forget about COMPASS BARRIER enter The Tri runs straight on the wind through the sea with 70cm swell ..... Super !! Likewise under 55m2 Ginaker space wind, waves from diagonally behind ...... very good !! Sure ... this AP costs 3 times to eg the ST1000 or Simrad TP10, but this AP, the controller can even take over the wind at Bft5 for a long time In wind turner only fast 10 or -20 enter the mode of operation is actually always pleasant Quiet (no sawmill) I have not been able to find any negative properties in the last 2 weeks. Conclusion Absolute buy recommendation for one-hand sailors sailing fast or nervous boats

Excellent products. Connection seatalk ng easy to install. Too bad that the length of the cables supplied (branch and dorsal) are not optional, so you have to buy other cables if the configuration of the installation requires it. Ditto for mounting the cylinder, the accessories are very expensive at Raymarine. It is better to be a good handyman. However, once mounted, parameterized and calibrated, the system is powerful.

SVB as always top - forced to switch to the successor
During a forced change (4-year-old MFD A97 could no longer be repaired by Raymarine - but a very accommodating exchange offer) on Axiom, I had to find that the previously well-functioning autopilot SPX-5 could no longer be controlled by the Lighthouse3 software and therefore the Buy successor to use this function, which is required for me in one-hand operation. All components no longer look as robust as the previous version. Therefore a point deduction. As a drive I use a 7 to heavy aluminum yacht with a much more robust Pelagic and as a backup the old Raymarine GP drive. Everything was easy to install and integrate into the existing Seatalk ng network. This means one control cable less than before. Commissioning was much easier than with the SPX-5. I am excited to see how the device works in the North Sea wave.

At the first attempt, the system was delivered already defective. After the exchange, she then worked very well for three months, then she unfortunately fell out again. Broke after 6 months of use.
Tiller arm broke after 6 months of use and approximately 2000 miles, my boat weight is 2100 kilos.
