When I asked SVB whether the thing can be easily dismantled and reassembled when not in use, or whether it is in the way for all time and produces bruises once it is not in use, I was answered in the negative. Tiller pilot installation difficult

The Simrad tiller pilots are delivered without an extension, ok. Everyone needs a different length. But can't you even include 2 drawers for mounting with the tiller substructure bracket for the price? You don't buy the screws from Simrad and you don't have satisfied customers that way either.
