The (unexpectedly) soft design of the shroud screw protector has proven itself very well in daily sailing. My initial scepticism was quickly dispelled. The sheet runs past easily and can no longer get caught under the shroud screw protector. Shroud turnbuckles deteriorate sheets and genoa clews quite a bit. Finding a quality protector that can be installed without removing the shrouds is not easy. The GNautics protector is a good option, I would highlight that it is easy to install, has good quality (they are beautiful!) and is reasonably priced. The package comes with two covers.
