As expected good .......

I changed the socket after 10 years, because it is recommended by the manufacturer. Due to the good experience I have decided again for the same product.

I have not used them yet but after doing concise measurements and comparing them to a genuine original Volvo seal, I feel confident they will work.for me. I now keep them as spares for the future.

Leak after 2 years and 200 engine hours. The Volvo model had lasted 20 years and 2000 hours. If it helps you make a choice...

The plastic mold used to make the blank probably doesn't close properly

Everything looked perfect. Seemingly flawless. I followed all the installation instructions. When I lowered the boat to the water, it started leaking water about a drop per second at rest. After starting the engine and a short drive, it leaked at the same speed. Leakage stopped only after the application of an additional approx. 1 ml of fat. After restarting the engine, the leak was almost the same as before. I added an extra 1ml of grease and didnt start the engine anymore. Now it is not dripping at rest and I am waiting for the new part, this time the original Volvo. So far, Ive used a dropless stuff box from Volvo and it lasted me no dripping every time for about 10 years.

After only eight weeks in operation, the jack licked and had to be changed on holiday in Sweden with considerable costs.
