The purchase of the two navigation lights was motivated by the replacement of the original ones (8 years) having sailed a lot. The lights have many homologations and their very correct design resists the harsh conditions of the front of a sailboat. The price remains at the top of the range of competing products.

Insgesamt eine gute und günstige Lampe. Nachteilig ist allerdings, dass die Kabeldurchführung mit dem Kabelschutz im Inneren der Lampe ein durchgehendes Gummiteil ist. Dadurch lässt es sich sehr schwer einziehen und reißt dann (bei mir zumindest trotz aller Vorsicht) genau an der Abdichtung ab. Am besten also eine separate Kabeldurchführung (Gummitülle) zusätzlich besorgen und diese verwenden.

Das ist inzwischen die dritte Stb-Posi, die ich erwerben muß, weil der Gennaker uns die immer abreißt. Ich kann inzwischen sagen, daß ich den Einbau beherrsche. Den Punkt Abzug gibt es für eine nicht ganz durchdachte Gummierung der Kabeldurchführung, die verlangt, daß die Quetschverbinder erst NACH Durchführung gesetzt werden, das ist nicht schlau über dem Bugkorb hängend...

The rubber seal is a joke and the contacts corrode after a short time. There is no contact as a spare part and you have to buy at least the entire backplate for just under 25, -. Unfortunately, I have the series and was just too lazy to try something better ....
