Cross bollards with edges

The cross bollards are safe and hold as they should. Unfortunately, some of the bollards still have a few nicks and sharp edges from the galvanization process, which can cause problems for the mooring lines. The round end buttons are also not ideal, and can easily rub through a mooring line. We have installed around 300 of these cross bollards on our jetty.

This is called plastering\r\nand is a matter of course with cast parts.Now there is a risk\r\nthat a nylon rope will wear through. The bollard rusts away.
