This is my replacement after reclamation. The lid sucks so tightly that opening without destruction is hardly possible. With the Rekla there are only problems, because Vetus does not want to acknowledge the complaint.

Impossible to seal lid mountinh bracket of poor design

Intended use above water level water filter for cooling small marine generator

Nothing great as unusable, lid will not effectively seal despite changing both lid and O-ring

This product has proved unusable in above water level installation as mandated by Vetus

Appears not sufficient quality to feel confident of safety profile

Note other users comments about strength and durability, unsafe to install below water.

Installation bracket not user friendly
