After 14 years the sacrificial anode was completely used up and the heating element finally burned out. The original spare part can be changed very easily in tight spaces if you first make a slim, short 55mm hexagon wrench from a 10mm iron plate. This means that the often time-consuming expansion of the boiler can be avoided! Highly recommended spare part at a reasonable price.

Faulty crimp.

For me, the crimping (contact thermostat heating element) was faulty. This prevented me from plugging in the thermostat. Since I don't have to check a new component and the installation position of the boiler didn't allow for a visual check afterwards, I had to remove the heating element again and fix the error.
