Plug & play worked right away

Great reception. A huge selection of channels (used in Holland). However, for this price you can get a good complete DAB radio.

The product itself works well. My flexible rod antenna fell apart after 2 years. It wasn't up to the Adriatic with its salt, sun, and bura. No problem, I thought, you can just unscrew the small antenna (like when installing it) and replace it with a new one. Unfortunately, there are no spare parts. Garmin only sells the complete antenna. As a gesture of goodwill, they offered to replace the entire module for around 70 euros. I would have had to remove everything and send it in. In return, I would have received a module that I would have to install again. That can't be right. A part that is designed as a simple replacement part cannot be maintained like that. And for a new antenna, the material costs of which are certainly less than 2 euros, you should pay 70 euros. Can't be true.
