Nice for decoration, but not for fishing....

Already dismantled the second rod holder in one season. If the holder is pulled while trolling, it is practically impossible to lock it and simply folds down - see picture. The plug connection to the mounting part on the railing slips out easily and has to be secured with a screw and a large washer.
The only good thing about the product is the white locking ring. Otherwise, unfortunately, the design is too poor

I ordered two rod holders. The delivery was also quite quick. Unfortunately, one of the rod holders was no longer new and in the original packaging. As requested, I took pictures for the complaint and emailed everything to SVB. It wasn't long before a Chantal "beat me to death" reported and of course couldn't find any signs of wear. Since I'm tired of getting upset about such things, I packed up all the stuff and sent the entire delivery back to SVB. The purchase price was then promptly refunded.

The end of the story is, I ordered my rod holders in China for the same price, these even made of stainless steel. Delivery time one week! quality very good.
I won't bother with SVB again...
