Quickly reduces humidity

Works quietly on the low setting and very effectively on the high setting; on the high setting the outgoing air flow is also preheated. For our 42ft. the low setting is absolutely sufficient. The moisture is removed from the air within 30-60 minutes. Ideal for rainy weather and wet clothes or even when cooking. In winter I only leave the ZAMBESI switched on for a few hours. The timer, on-off times, humidity in %, everything is easy to set. I let the condensation water drain directly into the sink. This requires a short piece of hose Ø10mm, which is not included. Power consumption on the low setting is around 30 Ah/hr. The device is rather large! This should be taken into account.

We are very happy with the device!
It does a good job, is handy and the power consumption is limited. It is in the basement of our house, is programmed to a time window and the desired humidity level. It's amazing how much moisture there is in the air. All you have to do is check it once a day and empty the water. I also wonder why I didn't buy it much sooner.

The dryer has been working perfectly for 6 weeks. We have it in our damp basement to reduce the humidity there, especially in the summer months. Zambezi reduced the humidity there from 75 to under 50 percent in a relatively short time. I particularly like the ionizer, whose effectiveness you can smell in the now no longer musty basement, and the many settings such as the running time setting and the desired humidity. Now in winter the Zambezi is in the bathroom, where it also gives off the right amount of heat to reduce the humidity. The waste heat was not necessary in the basement, but it didn't do any harm.
The workmanship of the device cover and the water collection container seems to be very solid. The carrying handle is very practical and absolutely useful for the rather heavy device (which I consider to be higher quality). To date (used for around 10 weeks) I can highly recommend the device.

I have a MEACO dehumidifier on board my ships - on which I live permanently. On a ship with a relatively low volume, an effective dehumidifier is absolutely a must. My first one is still running and the new owner is just as happy with it. Well, for my new ship I ordered this DD8L. It is the absolute best product on the market. Whether on a ship or in a permanent country residence, this device ensures permanently optimal humidity. I cannot recommend any other product, although I constantly follow the market.

We have now tested the dehumidifier in continuous operation on our steel ship for a week. Outside temperature 10 degrees with high humidity, in the cabin constant 24 degrees thanks to central heating with circulation pump. The dehumidifier ensures a pleasant, dry indoor climate.
