I attached the "Stopgull bird deterrent" product to a wooden board and then attached it to the bimini with sturdy rubber bands with metal hooks. The construction has held up to wind force 8 so far. After many attempts with flutter tapes and pennants, the boat has been free of "seagull legacies" for a few weeks after assembly. I'm really excited about the product.
It would be nice if the mounting accessories were shown in the catalog or on the website so that you can order them at the same time, otherwise perfect
In strong winds it is overwhelmed and always falls off. I don't know how this happens. The workmanship looks good, but it hasn't worked. At some point the propeller is gone, sunk in the sea. That has happened to me twice now. No part has lasted 12 months. In light winds it is certainly fine.
