The length is not 5 meters!

Quality question, the product seems very thin, we will see with use.
But what bothers me the most is that there is not the length of 5 meters, but 4.4m for my 8 fenders of 20x55. So I cut the 4.4m into 8 sections of 55cm (phew ... exactly), but once threaded on the fenders, it only covers 40 cm at most (without rolling up) because of the extension in width. See photo.
If the socks roll up by themselves with use, it will not be great ... In short, if you come across a boat with a strip on the fenders, it is mine
