I had previously, from another yacht outfitters, a "cheap version" with plastic holders. By contrast, this variant is a really great processed, stable and reliable mount. There is no clattering or wobbling! I have attached the holder upright to the tail rail. The sturdy strap with the safety catch keeps the container firmly in the basket. Clear Buy recommendation!

Doesn't fit the railing

The bracket is actually good, but the drill holes in the upper brackets don't fit the railing at all. Now have to order 2 new ones made. Otherwise the mount is good.

Less universal than expected. After cutting four tubes by 3cm each and drilling new mounting holes, my new Seago liferaft finally fit in securely. Hence only 2 points.
