I'm unhappy.
The product itself is not at fault.
It's missing a gas line connection accessory.
I wanted to replace a 25-year-old ENO 3 gas hob that gave me complete satisfaction, but two of its valves were faulty.
After much research for compatibility reasons, I found an ENO model that was an exact copy of my hob. So I purchased it.
When I tried to connect it, I noticed that the male end piece on the hob side wasn't compatible (13-8 left-hand threads, 21 right-hand threads on the old one). According to a parts supplier, this is a standard used in Germany, not in France. According to SVB, a connector costing nearly €50 must be added, and the customer must purchase it.
The appliance's instructions are in French; therefore, this is a product intended for French consumers.
How is it that the connector, which is almost impossible to find in France, isn't included with the plate, as is the case with many products? This is not worthy of a major brand like ENO.
If you read my comment, I hope you'll deliver this connector to me.
