Additional effective sealing

I use this rubber grommet to seal the connector on the RA300 VHF FME antenna. Although the FME glands themselves are waterproof, the crimping of the braided shield is not. The plug must therefore also be wrapped in vulcanizing rubber, which in turn is only partially UV-resistant. So this blue rubber grommet comes over it and the body is additionally provided with a non-hardening thread seal. Hopefully this will last for many years.

Maybe this accessory should be sold in a kit with the connections. In any case it seems to me that it should be clearly indicated that it is essential for mounting on an outdoor connection. This would avoid forgetting it and then having to order it after viewing the GLOMEX installation video. RAS on delivery always impeccable
