The pressure catch wears out over time, which means that sooner or later the catch will fail and the drawer or door can no longer be locked, as is the case with me. I think there are better constructions. Otherwise the product is ok.

Doesnt fit old models

I have a Bavaria Cruiser 37 from 2001.
I bought a few of these mechanisms to replace on my boat. Put aside the quality that looks questionable, the item is totally different from the original locks. Basically the old locks were much bigger and as such I couldnt find a way to use the new locks. As original are far bigger, the location of the hole is much further away from the edge of the panel it should close. The only way to use the new one is if I would drill new holes in addition to the old ones.
