Extremely sharp image that's lighter than with bare eyes

It's true, this is indeed a brand new Steiner Commander 7x50 without compass for an AMAZING price, as shown on the photos. (It's not the 7x50c as the item title says; clearly a typo.

I went to the local chandlery a few days ago where they had the new 7x50 Navigator and this Commander, both about the same price. Was allowed to try them out. The Commander was clearly the winner
- Significant wider field of view
- Ligher image
- Better 3D impression
- Prefer the old style with big rubber grips

Just received this Commander 7x50 from SVB today and tried it out over at the marina. It's just great!

Poor quality accessories

I cannot fault the binoculars but the metal clips that connect to the straps are very poor quality. Mine have rusted. Not good enough for a premium priced product.
