Attention, risk of confusing the filters!!

The diesel (fine) filter (H173WK) included in the service kit has exactly the same dimensions as the original Yanmar oil (!) filter and fits EXACTLY on the oil filter housing of the Yanmar 4JH4EA, both in terms of the diameter of the sealing ring and the thread of the screw connection!!

On the other hand, the oil filter (H97W06) included in the service kit is only half the size of the original oil filter.

The description of the service kit lacks a clear list of the Hengst part numbers indicating which filters are included. Furthermore, the impeller included in the service kit looks very cheap. Rubber flanks are leftover from production and must be laboriously removed to avoid them eventually ending up in the heat exchanger.

A resounding NO to this service kit and my sincere disappointment to SVB, where the quality should be checked more closely!

The diesel filter does not fit. Despite repeated inquiries as to whether the Hengst Fliter is identical in construction, I would have to state that the engine mount is in the way. I was assured that it is better and identical in construction. Unfortunately, it was also €6 more expensive than the original.
