No 100% tightness and contact reliability

Too bad, the overall concept makes a good impression. I used it as an outside socket in the cockpit for tiller steering. Unfortunately, the Bakelite inner cylinder does not close tightly to the housing without further measures.
Unfortunately, after successful installation, contact problems between the plug and socket can be found again and again. In my opinion, the reason for this is that the plug contacts are solid brass pins in the plug and rigid sleeves in the socket without springs on one of the two sides.
Despite the union nut on the plug, a light touch on the plug is enough to briefly interrupt the current.

Built-in, plug tested no function. Inlay was too big for the connector, no contact. I then repaired the can myself because the return service was very disappointing last time.
