Connection plastic-metal pin only conditionally stable.

Unfortunately there is no alternative that is made entirely of metal and has an M8 thread. Had to buy a replacement for a Bavaria Cruiser 34 (BJ 2022) because the old toggle at the metal pin plastic connection broke. I've now filled the inside of the replacement with epoxy, so that the stability should be significantly increased.

Stainless steel thread and wrong plastic knob coupling extremely fragile, it broke immediately at the first squeeze

Not having received any response, I will forward the email again regarding the material received. I note that the brake knob, art. 20523, to be used to block one of the two rudder wheels, revealed itself upon installation with a defect in the thread which prevents it from being tightened. On the first attempt to screw the knob on the plastic collar cracked. Problem already had as the connection between plastic and stainless steel thread is not structurally adequate for the work required and, I would add, for the selling price. Sure of your attention to customer satisfaction, I count on you taking charge of our problem. Thank you. On behalf of four new owners of a 2007 Bavaria 40 Ds. I attach order data. Thank you

Quickly after assembly, cracks appeared inside the wheel. This was to be expected because the part is poorly designed in relation to the clamping force for which it is intended. The steel rod is embedded directly in the plastic tightening wheel. The base of the crimp is much too weak and can only give way after a few uses. I am very disappointed by this article which does not meet the specifications for which it is intended.
