Simple plastic, not really durable

So for the fact that it is a simple piece of plastic that breaks after two years at the latest, the price is rather inflated. The elongated plastic part with which the whole thing is screwed on board breaks with us regularly after two years. The last time we helped each other by drilling a hole in the round lid and then attaching it to the board with a cord. However, after 4 years, the lid broke by simply opening up. Since there is unfortunately no sensible alternative (at least we don't know any), we have now put 2 on reserver.

I had to replace the previous covers because the brackets on both caps had broken. The new covers broke again after one season. So I ordered more. I've set these aside as spares in case I ever sell the boat again. I don't have any more covers on it now! - works too, and saves unnecessary costs!

Qualitatively unsatisfactory

I wanted to replace the original caps, which had become very unsightly, with these. They fit perfectly, but the bars broke after just 2 seasons. Apparently a problem with UV. What a pity.
