Great service

As always, I'm very impressed with the products. What more can I say?

I bought the plotter and radar as a set at a discount. The radar antenna will be installed next winter because a lot of the casing needs to be removed to make room for the cables. Therefore, I can't currently give a review of the radar unit. The plotter has since been installed and connected to the AIS transponder via NMEA 2000 cabling. Everything works perfectly; the AXIMON Pro 9 is an excellent plotter. When I had technical questions, I received quick, competent, and helpful answers from the SVB team. The reason I'm only giving it four out of five stars is solely because the installation and operating instructions were only in English. I had to download and print out 168 pages for the plotter and another 98 pages in German for the radar from the internet, which I didn't find particularly great.

Intuitive operation well implemented.

The knob is unreasonably tight on this model and often gets stuck. I have had this model replaced twice but with the same problem to varying degrees. Despite 2 complaints, SVB has not managed to deliver me a product without this defect.

Oh, get out of the tablet and stick with the tablet. These homemade operating systems feel so limited and cumbersome. I had to walk halfway around the island before the thing booted up...like my first home computers back in the 80s.
