Simple mechanics, does what it's supposed to do. Show the filling level.

practical and functional

Although the reading of the mechanical fuel gauge is rather difficult to read, it is at least a level indicator. In otherwise opaque tanks so better than no level indicator.

I have been using this system for 3 years in a CANPlastic tank.

simple, little risk of breakdown, this system allows you to have an approximate visual on the level.

- when installed, the holes did not correspond to the imprint of the can.
The float cap is of poor quality and takes on water after a few years. It no longer provides enough buoyancy to effectively overcome the weight of the rod. The indicator therefore continually indicates a low level and beats against the wall of the tank with the ripples of the water. My bunk being close to the tank, this is disturbing.
I am therefore working on replacing the float but there are significant dimensional constraints to be able to enter the system through the hole in the tank.

I hope that these comments can be reported to the manufacturer.

This Nr is a tank indicator for the price of 1495 it is available in only one size and does not fit in the tank. Elsewhere there is the indicator in different sizes correspond to the tank.

average readability the holes did not match the standard tank, I had to redo

the float of the gauge is a plug of cork ..... effective perhaps but very well sold I bought a tank of 33 liters .... and the gauge sold so saying for this tank 1- the gauge is too big for the tank, it can not stand upright and indicate when the tank is empty. so you have to reduce the height or fold or cut the gauge so it's pretty rough 2 - the holes in the gauge do not match those drill on the tank support ..... you need to get a drill to remake holes to shift from those originally planned .... so it's feasible but it takes time and needs to be a little handyman ...
