Great crane!
The thing is basically great! However, the rope urgently needs to be replaced with a decent one (use the old halyard). Then install an eye with a 10mm threaded rod instead of the existing rope holder (eye pointing upwards). Then you can pull on the rope and the rope is guided and does not come into contact with the unfortunately very sharp edges. That is easy to change! For me it is a great relief not to have to recklessly transport the outboard motor into the dinghy any more. I will install another crane like this, then I can pull the dinghy up completely at the back, even on my small sailing boat. Apart from the small lower pipe holder (there is rust there), the crane is made of V4A! It is easy to install and the effect is fantastic! I always use a safety rope when using the outboard motor. I don't feel like going diving one day because I was asleep ;-) Best wishes, Torsten Szameitat
