Hardens too quickly

While the leash is new, it's supple and easy to handle. After being outdoors for the winter, the leash had hardened so much that most of the knots could only be undone with pliers or by cutting them open.

Therefore, it's not weather-resistant and therefore not recommended for outdoor use.
