Perfectly fulfills the expected role

I bought this device to recover an NMEA 0183 signal coming from my multiplexer to connect it to an NMEA2000 Seatalk NG network. Then plugged into a Seatalk1Seatalk NG conversion strip I was able to retrieve all my network information in 4800 Bds and 38400 Bds. Best choice to connect old NMEA 0183 gear with new NMEA2000 protocol device

I think Actisense converters are the best choice to preserve our old NMEA 0183 marine equipment within new NMEA 2000 networks. My RADAR, VHF and AIS receiver work yet fine and I hope they will live for years together new 2000 protocol. Actisense give us an easy and secure solution as easy as plug and play. I have got both actisense adapters NGW-1 NMEA0183 - NMEA200 and NGW1-ISO-AIS Converter. They work fine and flawless within a NMEA 2000 network together autopilot and plotter (both Raymarine sea talk NG)
