We use the filter to fill the fresh water tanks. It is quickly connected to the hose, prevents dirt from getting in (the taps and aerators have not clogged since then) and the taste of the water is OK too.
As a rule, we do not use the filter capacity of 5500 liters, if we take a break of several months before the next visit to the boat, we dispose of the filter as a precaution - the filter is relatively cheap to buy.
