I am completely satisfied with the plotter. It does what it is supposed to do. Lots of options that I am not using at the moment, but that is nice, it makes it future-proof.
I had the plotter sent to Sweden ahead of time because I had problems with the previous model. That worked really well, when I got here the package was already there, full praise to SVB!

I am delighted with the product and have to say that I am honestly more than pleasantly surprised.

The functions are incredibly versatile and allow for many adjustments - so that you can set everything up perfectly for the boat.

I can only recommend the device to anyone who needs a handy plotter for their boat.

As a little tip: You can easily mount the bracket on a board that is inserted into a hinge made of U-rails. This allows you to remove the plotter and the bulky bracket to make space in seating areas.

Product is good but SVB tracking is only good if you live in Germany ordered from Ireland and had no clue where it was after it left Germany please do proper international tracking.

Good integration into the existing network without excessive adjustment. Fairly sensitive touchscreen compared to the zeus touch already on board. RAS for now

The chart plotter has worked just fine for one season. Even in direct sunlight, the device worked without any problems and was easy to read. Before we had navigated our 28 "sailing yacht with an iPad. The problem there was the solar radiation and that the tablet always switched off when it got too warm. So a clear improvement with the Vulcan. The resolution of the display could be a bit better , but then the device would probably no longer be so cheap.

reliable plotter with intuitive operation

The device was easy to install and worked reliably for a few weeks.
Last week the device worked for a short time until the touch function (the only way to operate it) was no longer available. The device continued to run in the background. The device could only be restarted by disconnecting it from the power supply until the error made it impossible to operate it again after a short time.
I have now taken the device to SVB in Bremen to complain. They told me that they would look at the device and then make a decision about repair or replacement.
I have now asked about the status by phone. I have not received a reply to my email. Now they are telling me that they will ask NAVICO for a number. As soon as they have it, the device will be sent on for assessment. Great, that could take a while!
When I handed it in to SVB I already told them that I wanted to go on vacation and needed the device.
I have been a customer of SVB for almost 30 years now and I would not have expected such a lengthy service!!!
Please no consoling feedback now. Only a quick solution will satisfy me now.

Not yet installed on board for the moment. Installation planned for this winter after a period of simulation tests for the handling of this device which will be connected to a B&G triton 2 pack. I would give a final opinion once installed and tested quietly to exploit all the possible uses in regatta.

Two seasons in use. I find operation tedious due to three places where you have to call up different menus. In my opinion, it is unfortunate that the switch-off symbol has to be clicked to mark MOB - it would be safer to have a special control button or symbol on the screen, no matter which menu is currently being used.
For me as a sporadic user, the overabundant menus can only be looked through with a lot of time.
But the price was good and as an introduction to the electr. Navigation and ForwardScan sonar from Nuzen.
