tres bon produit
charge bien a 35 Amp comme indiqué. A bord il est branché derrière un petit groupe electrogène de 1000W . Ce chargeur marche tres bien.

Son seul problème est que les leds de controle sont sous l'appareil ...et on ne les voit pas à moins de prendre un miroir.. pas pratique. .... mais pourquoi ne sont elles pas sur la face avant.
Ou alors et encore mieux il faudrait un module bluetooth pour controler à distance l'etat de la charge , l'ampérage et toutes infos utiles.. Victron sait le faire tres bien.

I\'ve got two sets of batteries, so i wanted to put two of them + mca remote control : but there is only one temp control input and one for the rc1. So i put the temp sensor on the service batteries, i\'ll see what happens next. perhaps i bought it usefulness, i don\'t know. but two pièces can\'t be plugged if you have remote control, or is there another possibility?

You\'re right. Like other manufacturers too, WAECO has provided only one sensor-input for temperature monitoring .
Your charger is suitable for charging a starter battery with limited voltage and current. There is no risk of overcharging or gassing.That is why there is no need to place the temp.-sensor at the starter battery.
The other two outputs are designed for charging service batteries with an optimal charging characteristic (adjustable via DIP-switches). This curve is based on room temperature (20-25 ° C).
The sensor detects not only a possible self-heating of the service batteries during charging with high currents. Rather, you should also take into account external heat sources, eg. the mashine. You should place the temp.-sensor on the thermally mostly stressed service battery.

The device makes a decent impression. The manufacturer has given little thought to the operation. The status LED would be better placed next to the device switch. The cold appliance plug can shake loose; a permanent connection would be better. The assembly instructions do not describe the configuration: remote control and temperature sensor. Asking the manufacturer was very difficult (16 minutes on hold). Waeco urgently needs to make improvements here.

I expected to turn the device on and off with the remote control. Unfortunately that is not possible. Only the fan can be switched to quiet. But this makes the charger even when the higher cooling capacity is no longer required. The status LED has a different display characteristic than the one in the device which is not easy to use. The remote control is more of a remote display and much too expensive.
