The oil filter is different from the original. The filter does not have an oil return valve! Therefore, the filter runs dry when installed upright (as with the VP MD-22). Danger of camshaft bearing damage!

Fehlkauf

Bei meinem Volvo Penta MD-22 passte dieser Filter nicht! Leider konnte ich die Bezeichnung im eingebauten Zustand nicht ablesen und so hatte ich mich auf die SVB-Beschreibung verlassen. Beim jetzigen Filtertausch musste ich feststellen, das ein Ölfilter mit der Bezeichnung W917 verbaut war. Diesen konnte ich dann deutlich günstiger im Kfz-Handel erwerben und problemlos austauschen.
