Now use teflon wax instead of silicone wax, this works well, is easier to apply and polish, make sure you have it clean before you put this wax on it, otherwise the dirt is underneath, just polish it and don't touch it anymore, perfect for the winter when you are outside, applying and polishing only for the new season work fine for me.

A little expensive, but in my opinion it's easy to work with if you don't do too much on the surface! You don't have to rub like crazy to get the smoothness and shine. Long durability and protection as well as long shine are, as with almost all products, even in the car and caravan sector, wishful thinking. A few weeks and you're good, if at all.
