The engine was ready for pickup at short notice and offers impressive value for money.

Although its rated power initially seems low for a 1.2-ton small cruiser, it delivers powerful thrust. With this drive, the boat reaches its hull speed in 4 Beaufort (4 Bft) from the front.

Starting is reliable, usually on the first pull. At cruising speed of around 4.5 knots, fuel consumption is approximately 1 liter per hour.

Thanks to the pusher propeller and a specially tuned gear ratio, the engine makes up for the perceived power deficit compared to a 6-hp outboard.

The only noticeable vibrations at high revs are the vibrations. However, for a single-cylinder engine, these are acceptable, especially since full throttle is rarely used in everyday life. The engine runs quite rough at high revs.

Conclusion: A reliable drive with sufficient power.

Hi, on your website you give the impression that you also service your outboard motors and/or carry out an initial inspection. I was all the more surprised when I picked it up that, for example, no initial inspection was carried out, and I wanted to contact a Mercury dealer because of the guarantee. The dealers I called (laughing) denied an initial inspection. I then discovered that at some dealers the Aubo was €60 to €80 cheaper than at yours (including the initial inspection!). You can imagine my disappointment! The Aubo itself is very good, the service is not worth a star.

Super outboard ..... Very suitable as an auxiliary engine, since the engine has a thrust propeller. Flush adapter and engine oil are included in the package. Workmanship and quality cannot be beaten.

Cardboard should not be unpacked in the port, otherwise plenty of styrofoam crumbs will spread uncontrollably!
