Replacement for corroded cylinder

New part installed exactly as is... Fits and works well, as expected.

The old cylinder was corroded inside (it's supposed to be waterproof) and therefore inoperative.

While troubleshooting, I initially spent a lot of time checking the switches and wiring until I finally looked at the old (identical) cylinder. It was badly corroded inside.

Hopefully, the new one won't corrode so quickly.
