Pox-free through the season

We have been using International Micron products continuously since 2007. We are absolutely convinced of the effectiveness of the product, at least in our area of operation (Western Baltic Sea). We have never found a single pimple on the surfaces coated with Micron when our boat came out of the water. This was the case even in seasons when we sailed few miles. We only have a little slime on the hull, but this was always easily removed with the high-pressure cleaner.
When we were advised, however, we were told that you only need to brush the hull once with the rough side of a sponge before repainting. I cannot confirm this, as the layer without active ingredients no longer adheres to the new layers after a while. Since 2012, we have always sanded the hull with an eccentric sander and vacuum before applying the new layers. I always work with a double layer on the waterline and the leading edges, as the removal is greater here. Our conclusion The effectiveness of the product in our shipping area (Western Baltic Sea) makes up for the additional cost compared to competing products in our opinion.

I have been using the Micron 350 for several years, the excellent effect is amazing every year on the shaft and screw, where I have to use a different antifouling (from the spray can), a thick layer of barnacles settles every year - on the underwater hull with Micron 350 pure nothing at all.
This year I added a little "Thinner No. 3" to the roller for application. You have to be a little careful not to let it drip too much when applying it. But the application looks much more even.
