Unreliable Broken after only 5 years

this VHF broke down after barely 5 years AIS function indicated HS, confirmed during a maintenance diagnosis. As I noticed that other Raymarine products (tridata sounder, wind sensor) are also subject to breakdowns even though this equipment was less than 5 years old, I seriously question the quality of this brand.
