Line clamps
Despite the enclosed design, the lazyjack line got stuck between the pulley and the bail arm. Not all blocks are of the same quality. Ordering a spare is advisable.

The price is of course hard to beat, if you want to have a ball bearing block. Further advantages: Various mounting options thanks to the bracket / bolt. Spenger fittings are, in my experience, without exception, susceptible to soiling. Then the block or even the curry clamp simply block what can be quite dumb with clamps in the open position! Since I have no problems at the moment with sand or similar. on deck, I have again struggled to Sprenger. At clamps, however, servo's are much better. The best clamps are in my opinion from Harken, but they are also very expensive.
