The clinker is made of plastic and does not make a particularly solid impression. The instructions should have an explanatory text. The antenna itself is good.

If the system seems practical, the plastic must be poorly machined or of poor quality. There is a problem because the wind vane does not turn. From the day after the matting, the weather vane no longer turned. After an ascent in the mast, disassembly, reassembly, lubrication, it works almost well but not for long. A year later, it doesn't work again. In short, never again.

Hello I bought this weather vane to install with its antenna. There I note the weather vane and not the antenna which it seems very correct. The wind vane is really gadgets, I have doubts that it resists 40 knots of wind. So I preferred to remove it immediately after installation to avoid having to go up to 13m for disassembly.

Stay away from this clicker.

Both times, the wind vane became stuck within days and no longer rotates. It's made of cheap plastic. A completely pointless product.

Masthead antenna works well. Does what it's supposed to, good reception.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of the Windex. I've been struggling with it for the second season now. So I can rule out an incorrect installation.
At first the actual wind indicator was stiff, after the first half of the season it was fixed. Due to poor storage, a few threads and some weather were enough and it was firm. This year I tuned it with plastic washers. But still not great.
Then the fixed bracket with its two arms simply cannot be fixed firmly enough. With every strong wind, it always turns away in different directions. Looks totally stupid, I won't install it next season.
My conclusion inferior product that does not fulfill its purpose.

The weather vane I received is highly unbalanced. The center of gravity is 4.5 cm behind the axis of rotation. As soon as the boat lists, the weather vane tips over and a strong enough wind is needed to compensate. Well at the port.

The clinker is too stiff and the fastening part does not fit on the antenna provided.

Svb service always perfect but this Glomex weather vane is embarrassing, material quality, weight and reactivity totally inadequate, absolutely miss and equip yourself with a true Windex of the size you need.
