The cool box achieves a high cable at 230 V and sufficient power at 12 V in my car. Unfortunately, I don't know how much power my car socket can deliver. Especially at 230 V, it quickly reaches the set temperature. The box appears to be well insulated since it does not start very often even at 30 C below ambient temperature. A little tip When cooling down or after packing some warm goods into the box, cool down to 2 C below the temperature you want, then raise to the desired value. Then the compressor and the fan start much less often when maintaining the desired temperature, e.g. B. 8 C. The fan costs the box a star in product satisfaction because it is a bit loud. It is large and somewhat close to the housing, which causes wind noise. In practice, she does not interfere with sleeping. When camping, there are mostly side noises anyway. Sleeping right next to the box would be uncomfortable. The fan only runs together with the compressor! Not always. There is only minimally heated air from the condenser out of the box, which is blown out by the fan. The surrounding area is not unnecessarily heated by the box if it is e.g. B. in the summer it is already warm in the tent or caravan. The operation of the box is simple. With "SET" you can jump through 3 menus, where the target temperature, display in C or F and the level of the battery protection can be set with the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons. I have not tried whether the battery protection works because it is not relevant for my car, because unfortunately there is only voltage at the car sockets when the engine is running. The processing is good for camping. It is not a high-end product, but camping is more about simple design, robustness, functionality and possibly weight. Everything is done well. Inside there can be up to 6 1.5 liter bottles and other goods. Particularly sensitive goods, such as open cuts, can best be placed in the space under the compressor. It's a little cooler here. One little thing is the fairly bright LED. It lights up to the ceiling. I thought that was okay in the tent) As night light, so to speak. In conclusion, I would recommend the box to others. It offers a good alternative to the usually more expensive compressor boxes. The refrigeration system technology used is of sufficient quality. It is not a compressor from a well-known manufacturer. The box is interesting for sailors, because according to the data sheet it can be used at up to 30 incline without the oil lubrication of the compressor breaking off.
