The box was empty on the terrace at an ambient temperature of 20 degrees. After switching on, the display shows an internal temp. from 19 degrees. Then I set the box to minus 10 degrees, the lowest possible temperature. After 27 minutes, the display already showed 0 degrees inside. The control with a thermometer also confirmed this. That was pretty quick. After a total of 55 minutes, the minus 10 degrees had already been reached and the cooling switched off. I was thrilled with that. The thermometer shows a temperature of -9.6 degrees during the check. About every 10 minutes the display jumped from -10 to -9 degrees and the box switched on again for approx. 4 minutes and then switched off again at -10. Great, that saves a lot of electricity. The next day I set the cool box to a temperature of 5 degrees and tested it again. After about 20 minutes 5 degrees were reached, the box switches off again. After 26 minutes the display jumps to 6 degrees, the box switches on and then takes less than 4 minutes to switch off again at 5 degrees. The values will of course change somewhat if the ambient temperature. 30 degrees instead of 20, but I can't test that here in Germany right now because of the bad weather. I hope this information will help one or the other to consider buying a compressor cooler. In any case, this is energy-saving.
