Very good but be careful with the power cable

I installed the same cooler, but smaller, on my sailboat, an MCF32, and I am very happy with it.
However, at first I was disappointed with how it worked but I ended up understanding that if the cigarette lighter socket is a little far from the electrical panel, you will need a large cable to power it. On my boat there is a distance of 5 meters because you have to make detours. I used 4 mm2 to power the socket and since then I have had no more problems. In fact, when the cooler motor starts it has a current draw which briefly lowers the voltage if the cable is too weak. This trips the cooler electronics which protect the battery from low voltages. Too bad not to have written it in the user manual.
I am now very satisfied with it and I find it regrettable that the 32 liter model has been removed from the catalog, it is the largest I can put in my boat.

Fresh produce chilled on a boat

This cooler comes in addition to the 3-energy fridge installed on the barge. This fridge works when you are sailing because it is powered by 12 v. Easy adjustment for temperature level. After stopping the fridge, it takes a short time, about 2 hours, to take the programmed temperature. I programmed it at 2C during the summer, I would raise it to 34C when the outside temperatures drop. Excellent product, recommended.

Unfortunately, the dimensions were too big for my boat and it was not possible to estimate the dimensions from the photos.
