Beautiful and practical teak table for the cockpit

The teak table is beautifully and robustly crafted. However, it comes without any varnish or oil finish. I used a clear PU boat varnish to protect the table permanently, and it really brought out the natural wood color.

Installation is a bit tricky. I welded a spacer to the stainless steel brackets of the steering column and mounted the table with folding hinges. This allows the table to be positioned vertically during intense sailing, giving you more freedom of movement in the cockpit.
