Good quality
A hole above the railing foot would be nice for attaching railing nets, even if not everyone needs it.

Quality very good. I would like \ r \ nif the addition as well as in the catalog and in the online shop could be read that the foot holder is not part of the support. According to the illustration \ r \ n you buy the support completely, but then you have to reorder the foot bracket. Then the price is no longer a top price.

Rundungen etwas zu stark ausgeprägt, kann zum Scheuern des Segels führen.

Standard stanchion in good quality. \ R \ nIt would be very nice if the only one-sided hole for fastening in the foot for the stanchion would be designed as a two-sided through hole. \ r \ nThe original stainless steel screws in the aluminum foot no longer hold after a few years - you can easily get along with a through hole in the aluminum foot and stainless steel -Machine screw with self-locking nut help.

Bad finish
The edges of the upper lifeline passages are sharp and risk damaging the cables.
Gilles M.
by Gilles M. Flag of France 12/8/2022 Variant: 25988
Finishing the upper holes too aggressive.
The overpass for the lifelines has sharp edges. This risks wearing out the lifelines prematurely, especially if they are made of Dyneema.

There is a wide hole missing!!
Stanchions can be used for various stanchions. E.g. 19142 the screw hole is drilled incorrectly by 90. Every time I buy a stanchion, someone has to drill the second hole so that the stanchion can be used. It is impossible for an industrial designer to ignore this.

Too thin-walled!
The supports are not really useful. They are too thin-walled and crooked again relatively quickly at the base. If the genoa gets stuck behind it when turning and you pull it up straight away, which is normal, the thing is crooked again. Even if you are inclined when going to the foredeck, you can't really hold on to it. For sailors who cannot get out of the cockpit while sailing and in the harbor if the ship remains nicely level, they are ok.
