Good product
Sturdy and well finished. It would be perfect if the two side pockets were a little larger, so that they could also accommodate a bottle.

Velcro and glue failing after 1 year
After one season I am unable to remove the velcrod front piece without peeling off the backing tape attached to the cockpit wall as well. The Velcro is stronger than the glue.
But, the Velcro is unable to hold two winch handles a couple of sail toes and a 500ml bottle of water without peeling off. The bags look great at first but I question if Velcro is a good long term solution. It certainly is no better than screws. Disappointed and would advise against buying.

We’re very sorry to hear that you’ve experienced problems with our product.
We’ve been using this self-adhesive Velcro system for around 20 years, and issues like this are extremely rare.
Normally, the adhesive holds very well on most surfaces.

There can be several possible reasons why the glue may not adhere properly to the gelcoat of a boat.
In some cases, strong UV exposure over time can weaken the adhesive.
Another possible cause is that the surface was not completely clean or grease-free before installation.
It can also happen that an aggressive cleaning agent was used, and the adhesive was applied before the surface was fully dry.
In addition, we don’t know exactly what kind of surface the product was mounted on.
It could have been a porous, uneven, or dusty surface, all of which can affect how well the adhesive bonds.

We don’t know exactly what happened in this particular case, but we’d be happy to send you a new piece of Velcro so you can clean and reapply it properly.
This way, we can show that the system, proven over many years of use, works very well when applied under the right conditions.
If you could share your mailing address with us, we’ll gladly send you a replacement.
Kind regards,
