I am very happy with its manufacture, the possibility of spare parts and accessories.

This comment is not to evaluate the product, (which is very good) but to comment that the attention during the sale through the website, and then personalized, is simply UNBEATABLE!!! In my 20 years in the boating business, I have not seen such PROFESSIONALISM, FRIENDSHIP, and SPEED as I have seen in this company.
My CONGRATULATIONS to SVB in general, and particularly to Mr. Juan and Ms. Arlette, I will continue to be a client and also, I will recommend your company to everyone around me.

It great that the dimensions have not been changed from the original design. Renewal should be easy.

It is great that the old hatch can be renewed with the exactly the same dimensions as the old one.

Due to the good description with dimensions everything was perfect and the installation was done in half an hour.

Lewmar has slightly offset the screw holes except for two (out of 18), so that 16 new holes have to be drilled and the old ones closed.

Otherwise a very good hatch, very robust and easy to adjust.

We have had exactly these hatches on our ship for 15 years. For three of the 5 hatches I have now ordered the exact same ones as replacements. \ R \ nThe reason is that the acrylic glass is now riddled with innumerable small cracks and the glasses are not available as a spare part. It is interesting that the 3 rectangular hatches show much more aging in the acrylic than the two slightly larger square hatches. The difference may be explained by the strong salt water spray on the forecastle (70,000 miles), but there may also be differences in the acrylic. The cracks go relatively deep and you are concerned that the glasses could break through. So the replacement. \ R \ n \ r \ nHinges and locks are a bit faded, but still work well. \ R \ n \ r \ nThe frame of the Ocean hatches is quite stiff and therefore these hatches seal better than with the cheaper low profile model. \ r \ n \ r \ n By and large, these are pretty good hatches.
