These are a good replacement for the equivalent (and expensive) "Oceanair" blinds.

The fit is good although the fixing holes from the Oceanair blinds are still just visible.

My only complaint is that the "side rails" between the two blind cassettes are to thin and very flimsy.

Once fitted, the side rails tend to sag down in the middle defeating the object of the silicon sealing strip and creating an unpleasant gap.

Not a show stopper, but irritating just the same.

After our existing roller blind (built in 2006) had become outdated, we had to buy a replacement. The roller blind is impressive in terms of quality and also works well. It can be easily and simply installed on all flat surfaces. However, and this requires a little adjustment work, the surrounding paneling of the old Luck needs to be adjusted. In our case, the Luck was installed 6 cm higher up to the ceiling paneling. If the paneling was not adjusted and shortened in height, a surrounding hollow space would then be visible. The effort is manageable and can be done quickly with a jigsaw.

I bought this awning to replace an original Lewmar awning. The product design has changed; instead of a one-piece frame, the brand has opted to supply a poor-quality kit.
The assembly is unstable, the plastic is too thin (light shines through), the fit on Lewmar deck panels is imprecise, and the sealing system is poorly designed. This product is absolutely not worth the price.

I replaced my blinds after 14 years because the originals had become unsightly due to UV, moisture and a loss of spring force. When I unpacked the new blinds and put them together, I was extremely disappointed. Such quality for this price is a disgrace. Under normal circumstances, I would have sent them back immediately, but as I am sailing around the world and received the replacement parts through my visitors, that was not possible in a timely manner. Blinds were installed according to the manufacturer's instructions. As already described in a review, the guidance of the grille and the blackout is inadequate, which means that the net was frayed after 4 months of use and was therefore unusable!

Jeanneau boats have their own leather ceiling... in between is the (old) blind... you got about 30 mm to work with... LEWMAR decided to make a FAT blind.... this will never fit. Meanwhile they don't communicate the height of blind.... i had to scale up the DWG drawing in Illustrator to find out its 4cm thick...

I have had Lewmar shades for 13 years and they have worked well. I swapped them now. The Monday may be easy. Increasing the tension is patience work. But the shading jumps out of the guide again with the slightest wind and can only be brought back into the guide with difficulty, only to fall out again with the slightest movement. So completely useless. Will return

After buying and mounting the blind, 1 month later the mechanism failed. I found the blind completely unrolled.
no idea if there is a warranty. I tried to contact SVB while I was on a cruise but very difficult to find the procedure.
To avoid !!!!
