I've now installed a second pump and am very satisfied. I was particularly impressed by the low noise level. At 19 liters per minute, it's very efficient. The only downside is that the internal rubber seals are somewhat prone to failure and don't close properly after a season. This reduces the suction power. However, there's a repair kit available, which I now keep on board.

An absolute bad buy. Woe to eat anything with grains. The check valves are very sensitive to small foreign bodies. I have to constantly unplug the hose and remove any grains from the lip valve or the pump won't be able to prime. Using additional davas check valves does not make sense. Other pumps work too. The low price is no consolation either.
