The pump is inserted in the keel floor. The water runs over the masts at the shroud stop and hulls into the mast in which stands by the fishing on the keel. The suction is very fast. The wake is pumped to about 2 cm water level. However, the pump will run again and again if the water in the harbor is unsteady and the battery will be discharged.

Very limited lifespan

Unfortunately, I have to replace the four Supersup Smarts that came pre-installed at the shipyard every three to four years. Even though they're almost never used, since the ship and engine rooms are largely dry. Nevertheless, they fall apart due to corrosion from the inside (at the firmly glued ring in the middle), or the pump motor jams due to corrosion. Poor quality for the price! Unfortunately, I haven't found an alternative yet due to the installation situation.

I bought this one last year 2019
Tested this year on a trip due to broken pipe from heat exchander to exhaust elbow and it broke down
Very dissapointed Happy to have manuel pump on my boat
